This section will hold annual reports, impact studies, research papers, newsletters, educational resources, policy briefs and case studies.
Most are still in preparation, and each entry below says so plainly rather than implying otherwise. Publishing what was received and how it was spent is the basis on which a charity asks to be trusted again next year, and our Financial Accountability Policy commits us to it.

Annual Report
The Foundation's yearly account of its work and its finances. The first edition is in preparation and will be published here.
The Annual Report is the Foundation’s account of a year: the programmes it ran, the communities it worked in, the funds it received and how they were spent.
The first edition is in preparation. Nothing has been published yet. This page exists so that it has a home when it is ready, and so that anyone looking for it can see plainly that it is coming rather than assume it is being withheld.
When published it will set out programme activity across the year, funds received and applied, governance and how decisions were made, and what did not go to plan alongside what did.
Publishing it is a commitment the Foundation has made in writing. Our Financial Accountability Policy obliges us to publish annual reports, impact assessments and financial disclosures, and that policy is itself published in full.
If you need figures before the report is ready — for a grant decision, a partnership or a major gift — ask us directly rather than working from a summary.

Impact Reports
Assessments of what the Foundation's programmes actually changed, and what they did not. The first is in preparation.
An impact report asks a harder question than an annual report does. Not what was delivered, but what changed because of it — and whether the change held.
The first impact report is in preparation. None has been published yet.
When published, these reports will examine programmes against what they set out to do: whether a sponsored child stayed in school, whether a trained learner found work, whether a mother’s circumstances were different a year later. Where the answer is no, the report will say so, because an assessment that only records successes is not an assessment.
They will also carry accounts that figures cannot hold — what a programme looked like in one community and what it meant to the people in it. Where those accounts involve children or families, they are published only with proper consent, under our Child Protection Policy and Safeguarding Policy.
Headline figures are easy to produce and hard to check. These reports are the checkable version, and they are the measure the Foundation would rather be judged on.

Financial Summaries
Where the Foundation's money came from and where it went, in a form a donor can read. The first summary is in preparation.
A financial summary answers the question every donor is entitled to ask and few are given a straight answer to: where did the money come from, and where did it go.
The first summary is in preparation. None has been published yet.
When published, each will set out income by source, expenditure by programme, the split between programme costs and running costs, and how restricted gifts were applied. Restricted and unrestricted giving are treated differently, and our Donation Policy explains how.
These summaries exist because our Financial Accountability Policy commits the Foundation to publishing them, not because a funder asked. A policy that is never tested against a published figure is decoration.
Donors, partners and funders who need detail sooner are welcome to request it. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (WAT).
