5. Conflicts of Interest
Individuals representing the Foundation must avoid situations where personal, financial, or professional interests could influence — or appear to influence — their decisions or responsibilities.
Any actual, potential, or perceived conflict of interest must be disclosed promptly so that appropriate action can be taken.
6. Anti-Corruption
Achebe Hope Foundation has zero tolerance for corruption in any form.
No individual acting on behalf of the Foundation may:
- Offer or accept bribes.
- Engage in fraud or financial misconduct.
- Misuse Foundation resources.
- Falsify records or reports.
- Abuse their position for personal gain.
Any violation may result in disciplinary action and, where necessary, referral to the appropriate authorities.
7. Confidentiality
During the course of our work, individuals may have access to confidential information relating to beneficiaries, donors, staff, volunteers, partners, programmes, and the Foundation’s operations.
Such information must be protected and used only for legitimate organizational purposes.
Confidential information must not be disclosed without proper authorization, except where required by law.

The Foundation is committed to handling all reports fairly, confidentially, and without retaliation against individuals who raise concerns in good faith.
10. Compliance
All Board members, staff, volunteers, interns, ambassadors, consultants, contractors, and partners are expected to understand and comply with this Code of Ethics.
Failure to comply may result in appropriate corrective or disciplinary action, including the termination of employment, volunteer engagement, partnership, or other formal relationships with the Foundation where applicable.
