Careers

We are building a team of passionate professionals committed to creating meaningful impact.

As the Foundation grows, opportunities will become available across programme management, partnerships, communications, community development, media, finance, administration and digital education.

Current openings

There are no advertised vacancies at present. Roles are posted here as they open.

If you believe in our mission and think there is a role you could fill, we would still like to hear from you. Tell us what you do and where you think you would fit.

Speculative applications are read. A small organisation more often creates a role around a person it has already met than writes a job description and waits, so a good letter now is worth more than watching this page. Tell us what you do, what you have actually delivered, which part of the Foundation’s work interests you and why, and how to reach you. A short letter and a CV is enough.

What we look for

People who finish things. Development work generates a great deal of enthusiasm and rather less follow-through, and the roles that matter here are the ones held by people who write the report, file the record, make the call and close the loop.

Beyond that: comfort with limited resources, respect for the communities our programmes serve, and a willingness to be accountable for what you spend and what you claim. Field roles involve travel. Programme roles involve early mornings and long days when an outreach is running.

Working with us

All staff agree to our Code of Ethics and, where a role involves contact with children, our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policies. Both are published in full on this website.

Read them before you apply. They describe how decisions are made, how conflicts of interest are handled, how concerns are reported and how the Foundation accounts for its money. If you are going to spend your working life somewhere, it is worth knowing what it has committed to in writing. All ten policies are in our Legal Centre, alongside our Financial Accountability Policy.

The Foundation works from two offices — Dokart Corporate House, Old Onitsha–Awka Road, Ogidi, Anambra State, and No. 8B Thaba Tseka Street, Wuse 2, Abuja — Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (WAT).

Other ways in

A vacancy is not the only route in. Internships are offered across seven departments, volunteering is open year-round, and the community on Achebe Campus is where roles and opportunities are announced first.

Together, We Can Create Lasting Change

Whether you volunteer your time, partner with us, sponsor a programme or make a donation, you become part of a movement restoring hope across Africa.
