Become a Partner

A partnership is not a donation with a logo attached. It is an agreement to do a defined piece of work together, where each side brings something the other does not have. A hospital brings clinicians. A school brings classrooms and a register. A technology company brings devices and trainers. A community association brings the local trust that makes any of it possible. The Foundation brings programmes that are already running, teams in Anambra State and Abuja, and the governance to account for what is spent.

How a partnership takes shape

Most begin with a conversation rather than a proposal. Tell us what your organisation does, what you are trying to achieve, and what you can commit — funding, expertise, facilities, staff time, equipment or reach. We will tell you where that fits one of our programmes, and where it does not. A partnership that is wrong for both sides is better identified early than halfway through.

From there the scope is agreed in writing: what will be delivered, in which communities, over what period, who is responsible for what, and how it will be reported. Work involving children or personal data is governed by our Child Protection Policy and Safeguarding Policy, which apply to partner staff and volunteers exactly as they apply to ours.

What we ask of partners

We ask partners to share our standards, not only our objectives. That means safeguarding taken seriously, funds properly accounted for, and communities treated as participants rather than as content for a campaign. Our Code of Ethics and Financial Accountability Policy set out the standards we hold ourselves to, and we expect to be held to them.

We also expect to be asked questions. Any organisation considering a partnership is entitled to read the policies, understand how funds are handled and see how work is reported before committing to anything. All ten policies are published in full in our Legal Centre.
